Project Manager – Industrial / Water & Wastewater – Gothenburg Sibe Construction is now seeking a Project Manager for our client with placement in Gothenburg. For our client, we are now seeking a business-minded and driven Project Manager who wants to lead projects within industrial and water & wastewater sectors! Placement is in Gothenburg and projects are conducted primarily in the Gothenburg region and surrounding areas. About the role As a Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for planning, leading, and executing construction projects from initiation to final delivery. You work closely with clients, site management, and the production organization, and play a central role in ensuring projects are completed with strong profitability, high quality, and satisfied customers. The role involves significant independent responsibility and is ideal for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where you can combine technology, business, and leadership. We are looking for someone with a strong business sense and good understanding of economics and budgeting. You see the connection between production, planning, and profitability and have the ability to make sound business decisions throughout the project lifecycle. Examples of work tasks Lead and drive construction projects from planning to completion. Manage finances, monitoring, and project profitability. Work with budgets, forecasts, and financial management. Build and develop long-term customer relationships. Coordinate internal and external resources in projects. Ensure structure, planning, and progress. Work closely with both public and private clients. Contribute to the development of working methods and project management. We are looking for someone who Has experience driving construction projects and feels comfortable in a role where both business and production are in focus. You have likely worked as: Project Manager in water & wastewater and infrastructure projects Site Manager in earthwork and infrastructure Construction Engineer with significant independent responsibility We appreciate experience from infrastructure, earthwork, industrial, or water & wastewater projects, but what matters most is that you have good production knowledge, strong personal drive, and a desire to create successful projects together with customers and colleagues. We particularly seek someone who: has solid practical background in piping, mechanics, or industrial work, has taken the next step into project management, has experience with construction projects in process industries, is business-minded and has worked with budgets and client communication, has strong technical expertise and good ability to build trust with both customers and installers. You do not need to be a university engineer to succeed in this role. We place significantly greater weight on your production experience, your business acumen, your drive, and your ability to deliver results than on your educational background. You do need to have strong administrative skills.
