Saab Dynamics in Karlskoga is seeking a project manager who wants to take responsibility for driving our production and development projects forward. Your Role The project manager position involves driving production projects within development, capacity enhancement, and relocation of production sections for Dynamics production so that our customers receive their products on time with the right quality. You will lead and coordinate project members within production technology, planning, procurement, production quality, and other production resources, and will also have contact points within the business unit and development. Your main responsibilities consist of planning, coordinating, and leading industrialization and/or capacity enhancement projects together with the Development Project. As part of this work, you are responsible for achieving, reporting, and following up on project goals and metrics, as well as identifying and managing risks within the projects. Understanding the challenges in different cultures within different organizations or nationalities is an important part of your work and therefore creating and maintaining good relationships with all relevant contact points, as well as regularly reporting the project status to the steering committee. The position is based in Karlskoga, and you will become part of our project office, which connects production's commitments with Business Unit Ground Combat. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is used to leading, organizing, and taking responsibility and who thrives in an environment where both people and structure are in focus. You have several years of experience in project management, preferably within a manufacturing or technical environment, and you are used to driving complex assignments from start to finish. Perhaps you have previously worked in process industry or another form of production, where you learned to understand the challenges and opportunities that exist at the intersection of technology, quality, and delivery. You have a good technical understanding, preferably with an engineering degree or equivalent experience from working life. To succeed in the role, you need to be able to switch between the operational and the strategic; you have the ability to see the whole picture while making everyday operations function. You enjoy taking initiative, creating structure, and leading others toward common goals. Your communication skills make you easily build trust both internally and externally, and you have no problem collaborating with different parts of the organization. The role involves many contact points, both within Sweden and internationally, and therefore you need to be able to express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Since you sometimes need to travel between our different sites, it is also important that you have a B driver's license.
