How do you know that railway facilities are safe, functional and ready for traffic? You are responsible for driving the work forward according to contract and work closely with both contractors and internal functions on monitoring, planning and development of facility measures. Work Tasks Do you want to lead assignments that help us have the right knowledge about the railway facility and can plan and carry out work in a safe and efficient manner? As a project manager, you are responsible for national maintenance contracts where technology, digitalization and facility data are at the center. You work closely with contractors and internal specialists and drive the work from planning and monitoring to development and improvement. As a project manager, you will initially be primarily responsible for two of our contracts within: free space measurement (FOMUL) - measurements that provide important information about the space around the railway cable localization and ground investigations along the railway CIRRUS - collection of facility data, among other things through laser point clouds, which enables digital site visits and increased knowledge about the facility The contracts are national and create important prerequisites for several operations working in and around the railway facility. Here you will work with assignments where traditional railway maintenance meets new technical and digital solutions. You work both operatively and strategically with responsibility for leading, coordinating and monitoring the work. You follow the development of projects, analyze results and drive improvements and measures to ensure that contracts are fulfilled. In the role you will, among other things: ensure that the contracts are executed according to agreement and follow up on deliveries be responsible for documenting and following up on the need for measures in the facility work with operations planning, monitoring and forecasts when needed, lead the work with developing request documents and conducting procurements handle contacts with, for example, municipalities, the public and other stakeholders contribute technical expertise and knowledge about the facility's status to other parts of the Swedish Transport Administration Qualifications To succeed in the role, we see that you have good problem-solving skills. We are looking for you who have: education with a technical focus at university level or other education that we consider equivalent work experience from maintenance or new construction within infrastructure at least three years of work experience in project work in a leading position competence for or previous experience in occupational health and safety matters familiarity with the Office package good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written driver's license for a car It is meritorious if you have good ability to work with the Swedish Transport Administration's IT tools Experience in procurement, purchasing or contract law (e.g. ABK09 and AB04) good negotiation experience competence for or previous experience as Safety and Security Manager/Planner Other Information The employment is security-vetted without placement in a security class.
