At Kadesjös Engineering Firm, we are looking for a business-driven project manager who wants to strengthen our project management department. We work closely with our clients throughout the entire process – from early stages and project development to implementation and completion. Our ambition is not just to lead projects, but to contribute to better business outcomes for our customers.
We are looking for someone with experience in design and project or design management, preferably with a background in residential and/or real estate development. You are accustomed to working closely with the client and have the ability to understand the business and operations behind a project. You see the bigger picture and understand how economics, legal matters, market conditions, and technical requirements together impact the decisions made throughout the different phases of the project.
You can identify opportunities, challenge when necessary, and help the client find solutions that create value throughout the project. For us, it is important that you can put yourself in the client's perspective and understand what actually constitutes a good business deal – not just a well-executed construction project.
As a person, you are relationship-focused and trustworthy and enjoy developing both projects and client relationships. You have an established network and see it as a natural part of the role to maintain existing relationships and create new contacts.
With us, you will work on varying assignments including residential properties, commercial real estate, industrial facilities, schools, and offices. At the same time, you will become part of Kadesjös broad expertise in construction and installation design and will have access to strong support from our experienced colleagues.
We see that you have:
Relevant education and experience in design, project management, project development, or real estate development
Experience independently driving projects and working closely with clients
Solid business understanding and the ability to view the project from the client's perspective
Knowledge of economics and legal matters related to residential and real estate development, for example investment and profitability calculations, real estate transactions, and cooperative housing law
Ability to build long-term client relationships
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
Meritorious is experience from a client or project owner role in residential or real estate development.
