We are seeking someone with experience managing system implementations who wants to take overall responsibility for implementing Stockholm City's new provider system, Lifecare Stockholm, with private home care service providers. This project is one of the city's most important change initiatives. Welcome to us This role is part of the Elderly Care Administration's unit for digital operational development. The unit was established on May 1, 2026 and is responsible for operational development and management of work methods and IT support within social services and elderly care. The assignment also includes Project NU (implementing our new provider systems) and coordination of the social services digitalization portfolio. The unit is in its startup phase and the assignment will evolve over time. We are located in newly renovated, activity-based offices a stone's throw from Älvsjö commuter train and bus station with proximity to restaurants, cafés, and services. Background The city has signed an agreement with Tieto AB regarding the provider system Lifecare. We have chosen to call it Lifecare Stockholm. The implementation is led by the Elderly Care Administration through Project NU. The city's private home care service providers will also implement Lifecare, and Project NU drives and is responsible for this. The project is led by a main project manager and is divided into three sub-projects: - Sub-project Technology - Sub-project Operations - Sub-project Implementation (this position is part of this) Each sub-project is led by a sub-project manager who, together with the main project manager and the vendor's project manager, makes up the project management team. As the implementation lead for private providers, you will be part of the implementation sub-project and have a very important role in one of the city's most significant projects. Together with engaged and knowledgeable project team members, you will ensure that all home care staff are ready to begin using the system. Currently, the project is working on adapting, configuring, and integrating Lifecare Stockholm with the city's other systems before implementation in the operations begins. In this role, you will work closely with private providers and the project organization to ensure a structured and successful implementation. You will have a central role in complex and significant change work where you need to be able to create structure, build relationships, and drive the work forward together with many different stakeholders. You need to have the ability to see the big picture while handling details and translating plans into concrete execution. Your main tasks include: - Develop, anchor, and follow up on implementation plans for private home care service providers - Plan, prioritize, and follow up on activities, deliverables, and resources - Ensure that private providers' needs and perspectives are captured in the implementation - Coordinate work between private providers, the project organization, and external vendors - Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and complex issues - Develop decision-making materials and prepare and report matters to project management - Contribute to ensuring that operations are prepared and ready to begin using Lifecare Stockholm Your competence and experience We are seeking someone who has: - Relevant academic education - Current and very good knowledge of home care operational processes in the private sector - Current leadership experience that has included operational development with a focus on employee and customer benefit - Experience leading and coordinating change and implementation work - Experience planning, structuring, and following up on implementation projects, including managing activities, dependencies, and risks - Very good ability to develop decision-making materials and formulate clear texts adapted to different audiences - Good ability to communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing It is meritorious if you have experience with: - Work in and/or on assignments for Stockholm City - Implementation of changed work methods supported by IT systems in large complex organizations Your personality and work style We place great emphasis on personal qualities, motivation, and commitment to the position.
