Do you want to be part of shaping how aircraft are produced and modified in the future? As a project manager for industrialization, you'll have a broad and operational role where you drive development from concept to implementation while working closely with production and engineering teams. About the role As a project manager for industrialization, you'll work on developing and optimizing how aircraft production and modification are carried out. You'll work closely with the business and have many touchpoints with production, design, and other interface functions, driving industrialization efforts from concept and planning through implementation. In this role, you're responsible for developing and creating documentation, methods, and solutions that create a more efficient operation. This might include defining how aircraft, tools, and workstations should be designed and positioned to create an efficient production and modification flow. You'll also work with layout issues, process development, administration, and analysis of the current state to identify improvement areas and drive change initiatives. An important part of the work is coordinating and managing interfaces between different functions and business areas to ensure solutions work throughout the entire chain, from design to production. You'll work in close collaboration with the business and have an operational role where you translate needs into practical and sustainable solutions. You'll work on long-term projects that often span several years. The role is part of a team strengthened by several project managers with different specializations in areas such as production, design, and interface management, which provides opportunities for close collaboration and knowledge exchange between different areas of expertise. Your profile We believe that to succeed in this role as a project manager, you have experience working with industrialization in the industrial sector and hold a university degree or master's degree in mechanical engineering, product development, or production. As a person, you're communicative and enjoy collaborating with different functions. The role involves many touchpoints and requires that you can create understanding and drive the work forward together with others. You're also operational in your approach and thrive being close to the business and ensuring that solutions are actually implemented and work in practice. Requirements for the position: Experience with project management and industrialization in the manufacturing industry University engineer/Master's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent Swedish and English fluently, spoken and written The assignment is placed in a security clearance class. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security vetting and be approved according to applicable regulations for security protection. This may require certain citizenship.
