Your Role
As a project manager for our maintenance shutdowns, you will be an important part of the organizational change taking place within processing in the Svappavaara area. The goal is to strengthen our core operations and drive the transition toward a more sustainable industry. The role gives you a unique opportunity to help build the future organization while contributing to the development of our processing operations.
You will work closely with engineers and other functions at the facility and are responsible for ensuring that shutdowns are carried out safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. The assignment includes taking on the role of BAS P and being responsible for both design and project management of the shutdowns.
Your main tasks:
Plan activities based on operational needs and budget
Convene and lead meetings related to the project
Establish schedules for internal and external contractors and schedule activities
Develop project risk analysis and occupational health and safety plans
Ensure that project goals and milestones are achieved
Follow up on shutdowns and develop improvement suggestions
Monitor and develop Major and Minor Shutdowns to meet upcoming production targets.
What You Bring
You work in a structured manner and take responsibility for driving the work forward. You collaborate easily, take initiative when needed, and have a strong focus on safety in your work.
You also have:
A degree with project/engineering focus or equivalent education, or alternatively work experience from project work
B-class driver's license
Training in BAS-P/BAS-U (meritorious)
Good knowledge of Swedish and English
