The treated water is discharged into the sea. Since our founding in 1972, our environmental initiatives worth billions of kronor have contributed to public benefit and cleaner seas. We are a circular economy facility and work creatively to increase our circular impact. To continue developing sustainably, we're driving Nya Rya, Gryaab's largest initiative ever. Through this program, we work with innovation and commitment to be ready with an expanded and upgraded treatment facility that meets future purification requirements and society's needs by 2036. Gryaab has a dedicated department to drive the program: the Major Projects Department. The program is led by a department manager and is divided into several projects. Each project is led by a project manager. What does the role entail? We are seeking an engaged project manager to take responsibility for the largest construction and infrastructure project within the Nya Rya program. The project encompasses investments of several billion kronor in a new treatment facility. It includes construction of technical buildings and installations as well as advanced control and regulation technology. The location is near the Älvsborg Bridge anchorage on the Hisingen side. The building facing the river will be a landmark structure for the city, visible the entire way from the river inlet to Lilla bommen. Other parts of the facility with large concrete structures will largely be blasted into the rock. You will be responsible for projects in various phases, from pre-project to operational facility. As project manager, you are responsible for budget, schedule, risks, and project organization. You are also responsible for ensuring cost estimates, procurement of consultants and contractors within the framework of public procurement law. You continuously monitor project finances and schedule and lead project, technical, and construction meetings. Your role also includes following up on contractual requirements. As project manager for this project, you will be part of the leadership of the project program and report to the department manager. You will become part of a department with colleagues who have high expertise, great commitment, dynamism, and curiosity. We are looking for someone who has: higher education or equivalent through extensive professional experience experience in project management within construction and infrastructure experience from large multidisciplinary projects experience from the implementation phase, including detailed design and construction experience with contract and contracting matters very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing As a person, you: work in a structured and methodical manner are a confident and engaging leader have good collaboration skills adapt your communication to the audience and situation Other Information Gryaab is a workplace where you can develop, and with your commitment and work ethic, you will become a natural part of the team.
