Project Manager Electrical and Control Systems for New Main Level

Your Role The new main level at Malmberget is one of LKAB's most important initiatives for future mine production. We are now looking for a project manager responsible for the design and installation of electrical and control systems connected to the new main level. The role encompasses the entire chain from high-voltage switchgear and power supply to low-voltage installations and automation systems. You will become part of the Mining Transformation Projects section where you work closely with internal specialists, consultants, and contractors. Examples of work tasks: Lead projects in electrical and control systems from early investigations and design to completed installation Take responsibility for project implementation related to high-voltage switchgear, low-voltage installations, and automation systems Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal resources to ensure efficient project execution Ensure that projects meet requirements regarding time, cost, quality, function, and safety Participate in procurement, technical evaluations, and contract matters Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, government requirements, and LKAB's safety requirements As a project manager, you will have a central role in developing the mine of the future and the opportunity to contribute to long-term sustainable solutions within one of Sweden's most advanced industrial environments. What You Bring We are looking for someone who is organized and responsible with the ability to drive projects forward in a methodical and independent manner. You are communicative and collaboration-oriented, which means you build good relationships and create trust with both colleagues and partners. To succeed in this role, you also need to be analytical and able to translate technical challenges into well-thought-out solutions. Requirements Technical education in electrical engineering, power engineering, automation, or equivalent experience that the employer deems equivalent Experience in project management as a client or supplier, preferably in large investment projects Background and experience with electrical and control installations Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written B driving license Meritorious Experience from mining, process, or other heavy industry Warm welcome to your application!
