What you'll work on at Södra
As a project manager within OT digitalization, you'll become a key player in our work to develop and implement digital solutions across our mills. You'll be an important link between people, technology, and operations – and get to create real value.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally with digitalization in industry. You'll drive projects from idea to implementation – but you'll do it together with others.
You will, among other things:
Lead digital development initiatives and create results that make a real impact on operations
Be the bridge between industrial IT (OT) and production, process, and maintenance
Connect technology with operational needs and create cohesion across projects
Work closely with engineers and specialists at our mills
Help develop new ways of working with digitalization
With us, you'll have a role where you can use both your technical expertise and your ability to create collaboration and engagement.
This is a central and cross-business unit role where you work across all our mills within Södra Cell. This means you'll build a broad network, have significant influence across the organization, and gain insight into several parts of our operations. The role involves business travel as projects are executed at our mills in Värö, Mörrum, and Mönsterås.
This is a permanent full-time position, start date by agreement.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is curious about how technology can make a real difference in an industry-focused operation, and who thrives in a role where you can take responsibility, collaborate, and drive things forward.
You have:
An engineering degree or equivalent experience
Experience with project management, or having worked in projects in a similar role
Knowledge in areas such as control engineering, data analysis, AI/ML, IoT, or predictive maintenance
A valid driver's license
