About the Role As a construction procurement manager, you are responsible for creating business conditions in Lidl's construction projects – from procurement to completed store. You work closely with our construction project managers and ensure efficient, qualitative, and cost-optimized solutions. You are part of an engaged team of five people at the head office in Barkarby and collaborate with project teams in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö. Your responsibilities include: Responsibility for procurement of construction contractors (new construction and renovations) Negotiate and enter into framework agreements with contractors and suppliers Manage commercial processes and contract negotiations Follow up on construction costs, budgets, and contracts Ensure quality in construction projects and installations Support project managers throughout the process – from procurement to completion About You To succeed in this role, we see that you have: 3–5 years of experience in construction, contracting, or real estate development Relevant university education or equivalent knowledge acquired from work experience Good understanding of the commercial and technical aspects of construction projects and are used to working in a business-driven environment Experience with procurement and negotiations in construction projects Good knowledge of construction law, particularly AB 04, ABT 06, and ABK 09 Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical descriptions Experience with cost tracking and commercial terms A valid driver's license is a requirement for the position. It is advantageous if you also have: Experience from construction companies or construction management Experience from construction in the retail industry As a person, you are communicative, open to change, and structured. You easily build trusting relationships, are confident in dialogue with different stakeholders, and thrive in a dynamic environment where you can quickly adapt to new conditions. At the same time, you work methodically and have a strong ability to plan, prioritize, and drive your work forward.
