About the Assignment We are seeking an experienced project engineer for a large and complex infrastructure project within railways. As a project engineer, you will work closely with project and construction management and play a central role in planning, coordinating, and monitoring the project's administrative and technical processes. You will be involved throughout the project's various phases and given significant responsibility for driving tasks and deliverables forward. The role includes change and requirement management, document control, technical coordination, project planning, financial tracking, and preparation of decision-making materials. You will have many contact points and collaborate with project management, construction management, contractors, technical specialists, and other project stakeholders. An important part of the role is ensuring structure, quality, and traceability in the project's documentation and deliverables. Work Tasks Responsible for the project's information and authorization structure and ensure efficient document management. Support project management with status reporting, follow-up, and project administration. Manage, prioritize, and monitor change requests and technical deviations. Work with cost tracking and financial support to project management. Plan and monitor project activities and ensure that the project's procedures, processes, and work methods are followed. Prepare decision-making materials and present analyses for steering committee and management meetings. Work with change management, requirement management, and requirement tracking. Support the project's technical areas with requirement analysis and preparation of calculation and decision-making materials. Review, analyze, and monitor the project's deliverables and identify the need for corrective measures. Coordinate document reviews and ensure that review processes function effectively. Prepare materials for meetings, workshops, and other project activities. Draw up expert statements, referral responses, and other qualified decision-making materials. Provide methodology and project support to project management and construction management in areas such as project governance, administration, and requirement management. Requirements Engineering degree of at least 2 years, vocational education in railways or electrical power, or alternatively at least 5 years of equivalent relevant work experience. Participated in at least two procurements in the role of client project engineer within the public sector according to LOU or LUF, with contract forms such as AB, ABK, or ABT. At least 4 years of experience as a project engineer or contract engineer in projects where coordination responsibility lay within the project organization and where more than two parties were involved. At least 3 years of experience working with requirement management and/or requirement documentation in an established requirement management tool. Experience as a project engineer or contract engineer supporting construction management in at least two projects with review of technical and financial materials and handling of change orders. Experience administering, documenting, and preparing minutes, contract documents, and decision documents in at least two projects during the past 6 years.
