About the Assignment: As a project engineer, you will serve as operational support to one or more project managers in technical infrastructure projects. The projects are related to elevators and escalators in public transportation environments and may include reinvestments, modernizations, replacements, and other technical measures. The projects may be in different phases – from analysis, planning, and design to procurement, execution, handover, and closure. The work is conducted in complex and traffic-adjacent environments where, for example, operational impact, accessibility, work environment, safety, logistics, and technical interfaces need to be managed and coordinated. Examples of Work Tasks In this role, you will among other things: Support project managers with planning, monitoring, and coordination of project activities Prepare meetings and agendas and create meeting notes and minutes Follow up on decisions, activities, measures, and open questions Develop and update presentations, status reports, and decision documents Support monitoring of schedules, budgets, forecasts, risks, deliverables, and project objectives Structure and administer project documentation, delivery tracking, and handover materials Coordinate and follow up on internal and external deliverables Assist in procurements, requisitions, orders, and contractor follow-up Support handling of change orders, notices, deviations, risks, and contract-related matters Collaborate with technical specialists, contractors, operations and maintenance organizations, and other relevant parties Contribute to matters related to quality, work environment, safety, documentation, and handover. The role involves close collaboration with the project management while you are expected to independently drive your assigned work tasks, take initiative, and contribute to structure and progress in the projects. Personal Qualities: We are looking for someone who is organized, responsible, and accustomed to working with multiple parallel issues. You need to be able to collaborate with different professional groups and stakeholders while independently driving your own work tasks forward. You are communicative, thorough, and comfortable with documentation and follow-up. Experience from larger technical organizations, infrastructure projects, or public sector operations is an advantage. Requirement Profile: To be suitable for this assignment, you must meet all of the following requirements: At least 4 years of documented experience as a project engineer, project coordinator, project support, assistant project manager, or equivalent role in project operations. At least 2 years of documented experience in project monitoring, such as monitoring of schedules, budgets, risks, deliverables, project status, measures, or open questions. At least 2 years of documented experience in project administration and document management, such as meeting minutes, action lists, decision documents, presentations, project folders, delivery lists, or handover documentation. At least 1 year of documented experience from technical projects in, for example, construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, public transportation, or technical installations. It is important that the above-mentioned experience is clearly evident from your CV, including which assignments the experience comes from and during which time periods. Meritorious Requirements: It is particularly meritorious if you also have: at least 2 years of experience from projects or assignments within public transportation or public client organizations at least 1 year of experience in contractor follow-up and contract-related matters, such as change orders, notices, deviations, contract follow-up, or monitoring of contractor deliverables at least 2 years of experience in project management and project documentation, such as status reporting, decision documents, schedule monitoring, budget monitoring, risk monitoring, meeting minutes, action lists, delivery lists, review materials, or handover documentation.
