About the Position Fridh & Hell is now seeking a design manager who wants to be part of keeping projects together from the early stage to the completed building. As a design manager, you have a central role throughout the design process. You are responsible for coordinating the design between different disciplines and creating conditions for the project to move forward according to established goals. The role involves close collaboration with design, estimation, procurement, and production, where you contribute to creating feasible solutions throughout the building process. The role can be based in either Karlstad or Bengtsfors. Responsibilities As a design manager, you will, among other things: · Coordinate the design between the project's different disciplines. · Establish and monitor design schedules. · Ensure that documents are delivered on time, with the right quality, and according to project requirements. · Manage multiple projects and parallel tasks simultaneously. · Contribute to estimation work as well as system and method selection based on project conditions and budget. · Collaborate closely with project management, estimation, procurement, production, consultants, and clients. About You We are looking for someone who is a structured and clear leader with a strong ability to foster collaboration between different functions. You thrive on taking responsibility, creating structure, and driving work forward even when multiple projects are running simultaneously. You have a solution-oriented approach and work methodically to ensure that the design maintains the right quality and contributes to efficient project execution. We see that you have: · Previous experience in the role of design manager. · Strong ability to coordinate design and establish design schedules for multiple disciplines. · Experience managing multiple projects and parallel tasks simultaneously. · Knowledge of estimation work as well as system and method selection based on project budget. · Ability to ensure that documents are delivered on time, with the right quality, and according to project requirements.
