About the Job Do you enjoy technology, production, working with people, and moving between operational and development tasks? Åkers Sweden is in a growth phase and we are currently driving several major investment projects. Therefore, we are looking for a project manager for our engineering department who reports to the Engineering & Quality Manager. Responsibilities Your assignment is to manage projects from pre-study to delivery, and to lead some of them. You are responsible for work distribution to sub-project managers in the project organization, but have no direct subordinates. Your role also includes developing risk analyses related to projects and ensuring final documentation of projects for delivery and handover. You will have financial follow-up responsibility with support from the finance department. Who Are You? Your educational background is an engineering degree or you have several years of experience from a similar position. You have practical experience as a project manager. To thrive in this role, we see that you are driven by continuously working with improvement measures and further developing methods and processes, both operationally and strategically. You are socially competent and comfortable in a central function with many contact points. Great weight will be placed on your personal qualities such as having strong personal drive, being analytical and structured. Of course, you possess good leadership skills, are service-oriented, and find it easy to collaborate with others.
