The Department of Communication, Quality Technology and Information Systems conducts activities at both Campus Östersund and Campus Sundsvall. The department provides education and research in subjects within the areas of Communication, Quality Technology and Information Systems.
Job Responsibilities
The position involves assisting in a research project on societal digitalization. The work includes developing and applying statistical and content-focused analysis methods, as well as analyzing data from a large citizen survey conducted in collaboration with DIGG and SCB. The responsibilities also include documenting the analysis work and serving as a co-author on scientific articles.
Your Background
We are seeking someone with (required qualifications):
Master's degree in Information Systems, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Business Administration or another related social science field.
Documented knowledge of and experience with quantitative data analysis.
Very strong ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
Meritorious qualifications include experience with research projects, survey research, survey data, scientific writing, and statistical software such as R, Stata or SPSS. It is also advantageous if you have authored and published scientific articles in the field of Information Systems based on quantitative studies.
Your Qualities
To succeed in this role, you are analytical, thorough and well-organized. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working closely with other researchers while being able to independently plan and drive your work forward. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
Employment and Start Date
The position is a fixed-term full-time employment starting October 1, 2026 or by agreement, but no later than January 31, 2027.
