The Development and Projects Department of Ādažu novada pašvaldības dome invites applications for a
Technical Project Manager on a full-time basis
Requirements for candidates:
higher education (Level 2 professional qualification or Master's degree) in the field of construction, supplemented with the knowledge necessary for a technical project manager;
ability to manage construction projects and construction work execution processes;
understanding of public procurement;
excellent skills in working with MS Office applications;
ability to continuously plan your work and meet deadlines, high sense of responsibility and precision;
excellent communication skills, presentation skills, ability to work in a team and positive attitude, ability to maintain confidentiality and tolerance.
Main responsibilities:
conduct technical management of investment projects;
prepare technical specifications and work assignments for project design, construction work, construction supervision and author supervision, equipment procurement and installation, as well as services for infrastructure project procurements, including projects with external financing;
verify the correctness, objectivity and reliability of submitted construction projects and construction cost estimates;
participate in project construction meetings, monitor and supervise the progress of construction work on the construction site and the compliance of related documentation with the requirements established in regulatory acts and the interests of the municipality;
prepare and report to the municipal committees and council the information within the department's responsibility for decision-making;
conduct risk analysis of infrastructure and other projects, ensuring timely reporting of identified or anticipated deviations in time, resources or costs, as well as develop and provide recommendations for addressing problem issues and construction cost increases within the framework of regulatory requirements;
participate in needs analysis and prepare proposals for the development and improvement of the municipality's public outdoor spaces.
Previous experience in similar work in technical project management and experience in state or municipal administration will be considered an advantage.
