Consumer Rights Protection Centre (Reg. No. 90000068854) announces a competition for Project Manager position (one vacancy for a fixed term until December 31, 2028) About the project and what we are looking for: The Consumer Rights Protection Centre (hereinafter – PTAC) implements an international project "Strengthening market surveillance and consumer protection systems in Ukraine". The project aims to strengthen Ukraine's national surveillance system and align it with European Union (EU) requirements regarding market surveillance and consumer rights protection. We are looking for a professional, goal-oriented, and knowledgeable Project Manager, whose main responsibility will be to ensure substantive planning, management, implementation control, financial and risk monitoring of the project tasks determined by PTAC, as well as to coordinate activities between involved partners in Latvia and Ukraine. You will be entrusted with: Planning and managing the project: Develop a Project implementation plan and ensure its execution in accordance with established quality requirements, budget, and deadlines; Monitoring finances: Develop a Project financial plan and control its implementation; Coordinating and collaborating: Ensure Project coordination and effective information exchange between cooperation partners in Latvia and Ukraine, as well as other involved parties; Representing the institution: Represent PTAC at Project management, tripartite, and coordination meetings; Preparing reports: Prepare regular substantive and financial reports and assessments (quarterly and annual reports) in accordance with Project requirements; Coordinating the team: Coordinate the work of experts involved in Project implementation, promote cooperation in activity implementation. We expect you to have: Education: Higher academic or second level professional education in social sciences, economics, or business management (preferably a Master's degree); Experience: Practical work experience in project management, not less than two years (at least 5 years of experience will be considered an advantage); Industry knowledge: Highly desirable knowledge in consumer rights protection and market surveillance, as well as understanding of the basic principles of implementing international cooperation projects; Language skills: State language proficiency at C1 level and English language proficiency at least at B2 level (in accordance with the criteria established by the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages"), which allows for communication as well as the use of documents and literature in the field of job activities; Communication and IT: Very good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work with office information systems, digital communication tools, and knowledge of document management in public administration.
