Jelgavas novada pašvaldība announces a competition for the position of Infrastructure Project Manager at the Central Administration's Project Department
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare applications for, manage and supervise infrastructure projects in accordance with established deadlines, budget and quality standards;
2. Prepare project documentation, coordinate with state and municipal institutions, and maintain it throughout the project cycle;
3. Organize procurement procedures, develop technical specifications and select collaboration partners (subcontractors, designers, suppliers);
4. Monitor contract performance, conduct risk analysis and operatively resolve problem situations at the site or during development;
5. Regularly monitor financial flow, control estimates and prepare reports for company management;
6. Ensure effective communication between all parties involved in the project and coordinate team work.
Requirements for Candidates:
1. Higher education in engineering, construction, project management or related field;
2. At least 3 years of successful practical work experience in infrastructure project implementation;
3. Good knowledge of project writing, coordination and management;
4. Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies, processes and construction/technical regulations in Latvia;
5. Ability to read and understand technical documentation, drawings and financial estimates;
6. Excellent argumentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills;
7. High sense of responsibility, accuracy and ability to make independent decisions in critical situations;
8. Ability to work in a team and independently;
9. Excellent Latvian language skills; knowledge of other foreign languages (English) will be considered an advantage and is necessary for proper understanding of project documentation.
10. Good computer skills (MS Office, MS Project or other project management software, preferably AutoCAD or similar programs).

Monthly Salary – 1836,00 EUR
