Do you want to lead an exciting industrial transformation project in Mälardalen? We are now looking for an experienced project manager who wants to take a key role in the implementation of a new MES system in connection with the establishment of a modern, highly automated production facility. This is an opportunity for you who thrive at the intersection of operations, production, and IT. You will be responsible for a mission-critical implementation where MES becomes the hub between business systems, production processes, and the factory of the future. About the Role You will lead a comprehensive implementation project where a new Manufacturing Execution System (MES) will be established as a central part of the future production environment. The assignment includes planning and coordination as well as testing, change management, and preparations for Go Live. You work in close collaboration with production, logistics, quality, IT, operations, and external system vendors. As a project manager, you become the cohesive force that ensures the project moves forward with the right quality, the right priorities, and the right anchoring. You will, among other things: • Lead and coordinate a cross-functional project team within MES and related system areas • Manage project plan, timeline, risk management, and follow-up • Ensure progress between operations, IT, and external vendors • Drive workshops, steering committee meetings, and decision forums • Coordinate integrations between MES, SAP/ERP, and production-related systems • Lead the project through test phases such as integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing • Ensure that requirements from production, quality, and logistics are captured and implemented in the solution • Support change management, communication, and operational preparations for Go Live • Work closely with senior decision makers and key stakeholders in the organization Who Are You? We are looking for you who are a confident and experienced project manager with experience navigating complex environments where many stakeholders, dependencies, and work packages need to be coordinated. You have the ability to create structure, build trust, and drive projects forward even when conditions change. To succeed in the role, we believe you have: • Several years of experience leading complex IT or system implementation projects • Experience with MES systems or other production-related business systems • Good understanding of the interaction between MES, ERP/SAP, and production processes • Experience from manufacturing industry or production-intensive operations • Documented experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors • Strong ability to manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholders • Experience with Go Live preparations and large-scale implementation projects • Very good communication skills in Swedish and English Extra Interesting if You Have Experience With: • Large-scale factory expansions or production initiatives • Digitalization and automation within industry • SAP-integrated production environments • Change management and operational development • Certifications within PMI, IPMA, or Prince2 About Us at Prowit We are convinced that the best results are created when competent people are given the right conditions to succeed.
