As a Program Director, you are responsible for leading, developing, and monitoring students' learning, well-being, and success within your programs. You manage the teaching staff on your program and together with them develop the program's content and profile. You see collaboration with organizations, universities, colleges, and businesses as a natural part of today's school—something we call "Training for Reality." Job Description As Program Director, you exercise leadership close to students and staff and become part of the leadership team, which consists of the principal and program directors. Together with school leadership, our pedagogical leadership team, teachers, and other staff, you lead continued development toward our ambitious goals. You are expected to serve as a strategic sounding board to the principal and use your experience to contribute to the school's development and quality. This means close collaboration with the other program director, ensuring that instruction develops based on scientific evidence and proven practice. Your leadership will help the school remain an attractive choice for students entering high school. Qualifications You hold a teaching license in one or more high school subjects. You also have at least 5 years of total teaching experience. We are looking for someone with previous experience in a school leadership role or equivalent experience. You have contributed to positive results and documented good outcomes from development work in educational activities. The position includes staff responsibility, and it is a merit if you have previous experience with scheduling and Skola24. As a leader, you direct, motivate, and empower others with the authority needed to effectively reach shared goals. You are a goal-oriented and clear leader accustomed to working toward high quality standards with a sense for structure and order, which shows in your priorities, planning, and actions. Through a coaching approach, you develop staff by guiding them to identify goals, remove obstacles, create opportunities, and plan actions. You lead groups and create engagement and participation. With the ability to listen and communicate, you handle different situations constructively. The position includes staff responsibility, and previous experience with scheduling is a merit. Employment Terms This is a permanent full-time position during school terms. We apply a 6-month probation period. Start date by agreement.
