Your Main Responsibilities:
develop and improve the Bureau's geographic data processing and publishing IT solutions, performing system analysis and developing new technical solutions;
develop, maintain, and improve geographic statistics publishing information systems and their functionality;
develop geospatial data processing, analysis, visualization, and publishing solutions using open-source technologies;
design, program, and document geographic information systems solutions;
evaluate geospatial data available in administrative registers and prepare proposals for their use in official statistics processes;
collaborate with system users, provide methodological support to Bureau divisions, and participate in project implementation.
Our Requirements:
higher or incomplete higher education in computer science, geography, or a related field;
practical experience working with QGIS or equivalent desktop GIS software;
good SQL knowledge and experience working with PostgreSQL/PostGIS or MS SQL Server;
experience with GeoServer, MapServer, or equivalent geospatial data publishing solutions;
knowledge of geospatial data formats, coordinate systems, and OGC standards such as WMS and WFS services;
basic knowledge of RESTful API, JSON, XML, and open-source JavaScript libraries (for example, OpenLayers, Leaflet);
knowledge of Python or R programming (an advantage);
ability to document technical solutions and collaborate with specialists from different fields;
English language knowledge at least B level (spoken and written) for understanding technical documentation and building international cooperation.

Salary Before Tax
EUR 2015.00 to EUR 2370.00 (depending on previous work experience and qualifications).
