Web Solutions Programmer

We are looking for a web solutions programmer who will develop the Bureau's statistics publishing IT systems, clearly demonstrating the added value of statistics to data users and facilitating their interpretation.
Your main responsibilities:
perform analysis of publishing processes and create innovative, user-oriented statistical distribution IT solutions;
create and maintain statistical distribution information systems, implement programming projects, collaborating with external service providers where necessary;
develop statistical visualization solutions and integrate them into official statistics publishing websites;
create thematic statistical indicator dashboards;
participate in the development of geospatial statistics publishing systems;
provide support to the Bureau's statistics-providing units and consult on IT solution development directions.
Examples of projects you will work on:
expanding the functionality of the official statistics portal and improving content management solutions;
geospatial data publishing tools (e.g., functional territories and demographic forecast tools);
interactive data dashboards and visualizations that make statistics understandable to a wide range of users.
Our requirements:
higher or incomplete higher education in computer science or related field;
experience working with HTML5, XHTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, SQL;
good knowledge of open-source JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Node.js, React, etc.);
knowledge of RESTful API interfaces, JSON, XML;
knowledge of content management systems (e.g., Drupal);
experience working with version control systems;
English language knowledge at B level (spoken and written) for understanding technical documentation and international collaboration.
