The position also includes undergraduate teaching and administrative duties. As a professor in neuroengineering, you will supervise undergraduate students and doctoral candidates and contribute to pedagogical development, mentoring competence, and academic mentorship within the research area. The role also includes responsibility for contributing to the development of education in medical technology and neuroengineering at both undergraduate and advanced levels. Your qualifications We are looking for someone who has demonstrated both scientific and pedagogical excellence. For this position, particular emphasis will be placed on scientific excellence. Regarding scientific excellence, the following will be assessed: Requirements for the position: That you have an established and active research line in neuroengineering. That you use engineering methods for development and analysis. That your research is conducted in close collaboration with clinical researchers. That you have demonstrated the ability to attract significant external research funding. Meritorious for the position: That you have experience building attractive research environments. That your research focus is biomedical instrumentation, which also includes signal and image processing as well as computational models and simulation. That you have experience in close collaboration with clinical researchers in the neuro field. That you have experience in technology transfer, evaluation, and implementation in healthcare. That you have experience leading and developing pedagogical activities.
