Nitrous oxide is a commonly used medical gas in, for example, obstetrics, pediatric care, and dentistry – but it is also one of the most climate-impacting greenhouse gases. Medclair has therefore developed innovative purification technologies that effectively capture and destroy nitrous oxide before it is released into the atmosphere.

In addition to its main products, Medclair also provides aftermarket service, technical support, and preventive maintenance to ensure long-term operation and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
The role is technical, practical, and varied, where you both contribute to new development and drive improvements of existing systems. You drive work from the prototype stage to a finished, certified, and producible product. You work practically and technically close to the design and function as the link between R&D, production, and external suppliers. A large part of the role involves commercializing solutions developed in R&D – where you make technical assessments, select components, review test reports from third-party laboratories, and ensure that products comply with relevant regulations.
Tasks:
Identify and qualify components and suppliers
Ensure that designs comply with regulatory directives
Support production with technical issues, troubleshooting, and improvement work
Carry out ongoing adjustments and improvements to existing products
Work closely with product designers and development teams to drive projects forward
Participate in prototype development and testing
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
Requirements:
Relevant work experience or education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, technical design, or similar
At least 2 years of experience developing machinery or electronics
Practical understanding of gas flow and its processes
Experience with CE marking and regulated environments
Fluent Swedish and English
Meritorious:
Experience in medical technology and MDD/MDR
Knowledge of ISO 13485
