Job Description As a Mechatronics Product Developer, you are responsible for the development, integration, and optimization of mechanical, electrical, and software-related systems in our products. You work with the entire interaction between mechanics, electronics, sensors, control systems, and software—from concept and requirements specification to testing and verification. In your daily work, you collaborate cross-functionally with designers, production, business development, procurement, and external partners. The role suits you if you want to combine system understanding with practical product development and thrive in an environment where multiple technical disciplines meet. Your main areas of responsibility: • Take responsibility for your own functional area in cross-functional project teams. • Develop and optimize mechatronic solutions for future products. • Ensure that mechanics, electronics, and software interact optimally. • Participate in concept development, requirements specification, and verification. • Define and document interfaces between electronics, sensors, software, and mechanical systems. • Design components and systems in CAD environments and prepare technical documentation and requirements specifications. • Plan and conduct testing, troubleshooting, and analysis at the system level. • Participate in FMEA, risk, and functional analyses as well as analysis work on quality matters. The position is located in Hova and the work is performed on-site at the facility. Qualifications To succeed in this role, we see that you have: • Post-secondary engineering degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or automation, or equivalent competence through work experience. • At least five years of experience in this role or equivalent competence level. • Experience with product development of mechatronic systems and CAD-based design. • Good understanding of electronics, control boards, sensors, and control and regulation technology. • Experience with testing, verification, requirements management, and troubleshooting at the system level. • Understanding of embedded systems and communication interfaces, and the ability to communicate requirements to software developers. • Good Swedish and English, spoken and written. • Driver's license class B. It is meritorious if you also have experience with: • Product development of consumer or industrial products. • Sensor systems, advanced measurement technology, and signal processing. • Heat pump or HVAC-related products. • CE marking and relevant product standards. • Energy management and energy efficiency.
