Welcome to us The Infrastructure Department consists of seven units with a total of approximately 90 employees. The department has a broad scope of activities. In addition to implementing the Traffic Office's major investment projects, the department is responsible for ensuring that bridges, tunnels, traffic signals, and public lighting maintain their functions and develop to meet the needs of a growing city through maintenance and reinvestment. The role is placed in the Lighting Unit where you will work together with 12 engaged and competent colleagues whose mission is to manage the city's public lighting. You will also work closely with colleagues in the sister units Infrastructure Technology and Traffic Technology who manage the city's traffic signals and other technical systems such as ground heating, elevators, escalators, utility tunnels, fountains, and more. Your role The position involves you taking on the role of product manager for operations in Vintergatan, which is our implementation of pm3. As a product manager with us, you will have a central role in developing both the unit's and the department's and office's work with data storage, data analysis, and IoT systems. The department has many different systems with facility data, and the organization desires to utilize data to a greater extent for insights, statistics, and data-driven decisions. Your assignment includes representing the department in the management and development of systems and procedures for data storage, data requirements, and data quality, as well as the systems that control and monitor the city's public lighting. The work is strategic, tactical, and operational with elements of long-term planning, budget work, goal setting, monitoring, project management, and supplier management. Furthermore, you will work on, among other things: • Participate in the object management for two management objects • Plan and drive the work within your products together with the IT unit and other operational specialists • Collaborate with all departments of the Traffic Office to collect, analyze, and prioritize the organization's needs within the framework of the products • Drive and/or participate in procurement and monitoring of supplier agreements in collaboration with operations and IT • Drive the development of tools and processes for data-driven decision-making in the department and unit Your competence and experience We are looking for you who have relevant university education or equivalent several years of documented work experience that we assess as equivalent experience from work with data storage (data warehouse, data lake), data analysis, data governance, connected control and monitoring systems, IoT, or equivalent high ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing, and good knowledge of English good ability to work in a structured manner and ensure quality in information and data It is meritorious if you also have experience in public sector operations or infrastructure development work in a role such as product manager, operations manager, systems manager, project manager, or similar within pm3 or another management model work with information security, cybersecurity, IT security, data protection, or systems management project management, program management, or change management understanding of how employees, processes, IT systems, information, and regulations interact and how operational capabilities create value understanding of technical facilities in the urban environment such as street lighting, traffic signals, or ground heating We are looking for you who is curious, innovative, and development-oriented with a good understanding of the value and potential of data and IoT for public administration. You are a communicative person with pedagogical ability to translate complex solutions into an understandable context and have a balanced technical interest with operational value as the starting point. Furthermore, you have the ability to see strategically and holistically around the entire office's needs. You enjoy switching between independent work and collaborating with others to drive decisions and lead activities.
