Responsibilities About the Role – Transform, Structure, and Manage Do you have an eye for workflows, logistics, and how to transform a growing operation with growing pains into a structured, efficient production? Saferoad in Köping has grown rapidly and right now much focus is on structuring up warehousing, optimizing workflows, and preparing the operation for a major business system transition to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) with planned go-live in fall 2027. As a Production Developer, you will be the key link connecting the physical workflow on the floor with digital administration. It is a broad and visible role where you are expected to analyze shortcomings, present findings, and independently drive improvement projects to completion. You are expected to establish and document the processes and procedures that are currently lacking. You will have close contact with production technicians, design, procurement, and warehouse. Your main areas of responsibility: Flow and Warehouse Optimization: Integrate the total workflow between warehouse, time, and capacity. Investigate time requirements for various tasks, identify gaps and bottlenecks, and ensure that measures are quickly implemented. Structure and Digitalize: Establish, structure, and document procedure descriptions for administration and production that are currently lacking. Drive Improvement Projects: Lead internal projects related to warehouse management, production, follow-up, and structure. Business System Implementation: Play an active role in preparations and implementation and management of the new BC (Business Central) system in the production and logistics modules. Qualifications To succeed in the role, we see that you are a senior professional with strong analytical skills and documented experience independently driving projects from start to finish. You have a quick grasp of LEAN thinking and can quickly sort and prioritize what delivers the best results. Saferoad has a cohesive production team with low staff turnover. We are looking for someone who is a skilled relationship builder, a confident and inclusive leader who can combine a clear mandate with an open and welcoming approach. You have the patience required to drive change, and you do it in a smooth way that maintains good team spirit. We are looking for someone who has: Education: Higher technical degree (preferably in logistics, production, mechanical engineering, or automation) or equivalent experience acquired through work. Experience: Several years of experience in production development, process logistics optimization, or project management in manufacturing industry. Analytical Ability: Experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and packaging/presenting them clearly to management and employees. System Understanding: Experience with Monitor ERP, Business Central, or similar production and logistics systems is highly meritorious.
