- Then this could be your next opportunity to join an inclusive team characterized by work joy, drive, and energy!
NOTE! For this position, we require experience from the automotive industry!
About the job:
You will work at the interface between production management, production engineers, and operators with the goal of developing efficient, robust, and safe manufacturing processes. With your background from the automotive segment, you have a natural understanding of strict quality requirements, tact-based flows, and the importance of preventative risk analyses.
The length and content of the assignment vary depending on the customer's needs. The work takes place primarily on-site at the customer, which means there may be weekly commuting, daily commuting, and/or remote work, depending entirely on where you live and the nature of the assignment. Primarily, the assignments are located in Southern Sweden.
Education and/or Competence:
- Experience with risk and quality analyses in manufacturing, specifically FMEA
- Experience as a production engineer, quality engineer, or supervisor within manufacturing industry, automotive, or equivalent high-demand environments
- College engineer degree or vocational education (YH) in a relevant field
Meritorious if you have knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
- Standards and tools related to the automotive industry (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, 8D)
- Assembly work, welding, and/or painting
- Project management and development of production processes/flows
- Lean and Six Sigma methods (DMAIC, 5S, VSM)
As a person:
You are interested, analytical, and take initiative to solve problems. Additionally, it is important that you are structured, responsible, and can plan and prioritize your work. Since the work involves a lot of report writing and documentation in Swedish, it is crucial that your language level is very high and that you enjoy expressing yourself in writing. The work involves many contact points at multiple levels in our customers' organizations, therefore it is important that you have good communication skills.
The ideal candidate:
We believe that you have a background in the automotive industry or its sub-suppliers and now want to take the step to become a production engineering consultant, with the aim of developing long-term with us. You likely have a burning interest in process improvements and preventative quality work.
Within Prokon, we are both flexible and persistent; we expect you to have the patience and analytical depth required to conduct the thorough FMEA analyses and process studies that our customers need to secure their flows.
