Would you like to work close to production and help develop how products, tools, and production flows can be manufactured efficiently and effectively? As a production engineer, you'll have a varied role in production engineering and industrialization, working with both new and existing products and production flows.
About the Role
As a production engineer, you'll have a varied and operationally focused role where you work on creating the conditions for products and tools to be manufactured efficiently and effectively. You'll be involved in industrializing new products and developing existing production flows. An important part of the role is analyzing how new products and tools can be produced and translating this into practical production solutions. You'll work with production and inspection planning for both new and existing products, developing documentation that supports production. You'll also develop and create instructions for how work should be performed.
The role also involves working with production flows and identifying how these can be developed and improved. You'll coordinate tools for various aircraft programs and work with item preparation in IFS. As a production engineer, you'll also have a supporting function within planning, preparation, and procurement.
Your Profile
To succeed in the production engineer role, we believe you have a vocational, college, or university degree in, for example, mechanical engineering, product development, industrial economics, or industrial management, or equivalent relevant experience.
You have experience with production engineering work and have worked with matters related to, for example, production, preparation, product development, or industrialization. You have an understanding of how products, tools, and production flows need to be designed and prepared to function in production.
The role involves contact points across various parts of the organization, which requires strong communication skills. You express yourself well in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have a structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Experience in production engineering work within manufacturing industry
• Vocational/College Engineer/Civil Engineer degree in mechanical engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent
• The assignment is classified as security-sensitive. Prior to employment, you must undergo a security clearance and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. This may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
