As a production technician at Saab, your responsibilities may vary depending on the assignment and operation, but what is common is that you work closely with production with a focus on ensuring efficient, robust, and high-quality processes.
Examples of responsibilities:
Develop, optimize, and continuously improve production processes.
Provide technical support to production and operators in daily work.
Participate in or drive efficiency, quality, and productivity initiatives.
Implement product changes and establish and update instructions and documentation.
Assist with installation, startup, and commissioning of machinery and equipment.
Work on tools, fixtures, and equipment-related improvements.
Identify and solve technical problems in production.
Contribute to the development of production flows and manufacturability.
Collaborate with internal and external contacts.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who wants to develop within production technology. You are solution-oriented, structured, and thrive in an environment where you can combine practical work with improvement and development tasks.
You have the ability to work both independently and in teams, and are motivated by contributing to efficient and well-functioning production.
Requirements for the position:
Post-secondary education in production technology, mechanical engineering, process technology, or similar.
Experience from manufacturing industry or work close to production.
Good understanding of production processes and technical flows.
Ability to work structurally and manage both operational and more long-term tasks.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you have experience with, for example, automation, testing, quality, or work with complex products.
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security clearance regulations at any given time. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, certain citizenship may be required in some cases.
