A Day at Work
As a Production Technician in welding, you will become part of Production Technology, a central function within NIBE AB where all manufacturing-related technology is unified in one organization.
You will work in close collaboration with welding production and operational management with clear responsibility for ensuring cost-effective, high-quality, and robust manufacturing.
The role offers broad contact across the organization and excellent opportunities for continued development in production technology.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Adapt new products for the welding process
- Develop, update, and ensure compliance with work instructions
- Develop, optimize, and balance welding flows and production lines
- Execute investments and improvement and development projects
- Provide technical support and resolve quality, process, and capacity deviations
- Participate in the development and optimization of welding processes, equipment, and working methods
The work is characterized by a focus on quality, productivity, ergonomics, and cost-effectiveness, where improvements and development initiatives contribute to concrete results in operations.

- Engineering degree or other relevant post-secondary education, or equivalent experience from manufacturing industry
- Experience in production technology, process engineering, or production development
- Knowledge and experience of welding production and welding processes
It is advantageous to have knowledge or experience in IWS or equivalent welding technical competence, robotic welding, automation, and project management. Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement for this role. We place great importance on personal fit.
