About the Role
As a Tool Preparation Specialist/Production Technician, you will be responsible for developing and preparing production documentation for tools and test equipment. The role involves close collaboration with design, production, logistics, and procurement to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes.
Your tasks will include:
Developing and preparing production documentation for tools and test equipment.
Reviewing design documentation and assessing manufacturability.
Optimizing lead times, material consumption, and production flows.
Participating in the development and improvement of processes and methods.
Collaborating with procurement and suppliers on manufacturing solutions.
Working in CAD and business systems to ensure an efficient production flow.
Your Profile
We're looking for someone with experience in production engineering work, preferably with a focus on tooling or mechanical manufacturing. You have a production engineering education or equivalent work experience and thrive in a role where technology, collaboration, and problem-solving are in focus.
We'd like to see that you have:
Experience in production engineering work within the manufacturing industry.
Good understanding of mechanical processing, such as milling, turning, and grinding.
Experience with 3D CAD and working with technical drawings.
Experience with business or ERP systems, such as IFS, is a merit.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are structured, analytical, and take initiative. You work independently while also having an easy time collaborating and building good relationships with both colleagues and external parties. If you have previous experience as an operator in the engineering industry or have worked in procurement, that's an extra plus.
