You will have an important role in planning and coordinating production, while also being part of the work to develop and improve the organization's ways of working. About the role As a production planner, you are an important part of the daily production flow. You work to plan production based on incoming needs, available capacity, and the organization's conditions. You have many points of contact and collaborate with, among others, production and other internal functions. Your task is to create a plan that works in practice while keeping track of what needs to be adjusted when conditions change. The role also includes an analytical and developmental component. You follow up on planning, work with various types of data, and identify things that could be improved. This could involve anything from planning processes and system usage to how resources and materials are utilized. In other words, you become someone who both works close to daily operations and contributes to developing them further. Your main responsibilities Plan and follow up on production based on current needs and conditions Ensure that production has the right conditions to achieve set goals Work with capacity planning and prioritization of production orders Coordinate information between planning and production Manage and quality assure information in business and planning systems Follow up on production data and identify deviations and improvement opportunities Contribute to developing and streamlining the planning process Support the organization with questions related to planning and production Participate in projects and improvement initiatives within production Contribute to a more structured and efficient way of working within planning and production What we are looking for We believe you have worked with production planning before and have an understanding of how planning affects daily production. You don't need to know everything from the start, but you should be accustomed to working in a structured manner, handling multiple information flows simultaneously, and making decisions based on available information. For this role, we would like you to have: Post-secondary education in, for example, production, logistics, industrial economics, or equivalent experience Experience in production planning within manufacturing operations Experience working in business or planning systems Good system proficiency and interest in working with data Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written It is advantageous if you have experience with ERP systems or have previously worked with business development and improvement initiatives. You understand that a plan needs to be adaptable when reality changes and you have an easy time prioritizing what needs to be done first. You are curious and enjoy understanding how things fit together. When you see something that could work better, you readily take initiative to investigate why and what could be done differently.
