We are seeking a Production Planner with 3–8 years of experience for a consulting assignment with our client in the aerospace and defense industry in Linköping. This role is ideal for you if you have production planning experience and want to work closely with both tactical and strategic planning.
As a Production Planner, you will play a central role in creating the right conditions for efficient and stable production. Through active planning, analysis, and monitoring, you will contribute to developing and optimizing planning work throughout the production chain.
About the assignment
You will work with planning support throughout the entire production flow – from component manufacturing to final assembly. The role involves close collaboration with workshop managers and other internal functions. You need to be able to see both the big picture and how individual decisions affect production capacity, delivery capability, and costs.
Your responsibilities include:
Resource and capacity planning
Capacity planning
Buffer management and production monitoring
Support on planning-related issues
Optimization of inventory management
Planning and parameter setup for manufactured items
Analysis and balancing of service level, inventory turnover, total cost, and production conditions
Continuous improvement and efficiency enhancement of planning processes and methods
We are looking for someone who has
Technical or business education at university level, or equivalent documented expertise
Theoretical knowledge of planning, logistics, and inventory management
3–8 years of experience in production planning, procurement, or similar work
Strong knowledge of business systems, such as IFS or other ERP systems
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
