We are now seeking a Production Planner for Fighter Production within the Aeronautics business area in Linköping.
Your Responsibilities
As a Production Planner, you will be a key member of the Production Management Office and the Production Planning section. You will work closely with operations to ensure efficient and sustainable production planning throughout the entire production chain, from component manufacturing to final assembly.
The role involves close collaboration with production managers, manufacturing, procurement, and other internal functions, where you become a central coordinator between different workflows and stakeholders. You will work both strategically and operationally to create the right conditions to meet production commitments.
Your responsibilities include:
Capacity and utilization planning
Resource planning and production monitoring
Buffer management and inventory optimization
Planning and parameter configuration for manufactured items
Analysis of material flows and production results
Support on planning-related technical matters to operations
Coordination between production, planning, and management
Driving improvement and efficiency initiatives within the planning area
In this role, you will continuously analyze relationships, identify deviations, and find solutions that improve delivery performance, inventory balance, and production stability.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with relevant higher education in engineering, economics, logistics, or equivalent, plus several years of experience from manufacturing industry. You have worked with production planning, materials planning, logistics, procurement, or supply chain and have a good understanding of how different parts of the production flow affect each other.
You are analytical and solution-oriented with the ability to see both details and the big picture. The role requires you to coordinate multiple parallel workflows simultaneously and function as a cohesive link between production, planning, and management.
As a person, you are communicative, organized, and self-driven. You easily build good collaborations and can adapt your communication to different audiences, whether working closely with the shop floor, colleagues in other functions, or management groups. You thrive in a changing environment where you take responsibility, drive improvements, and contribute to long-term business development.
We would like to see that you have:
Technical or economic higher education or equivalent experience
Several years of experience from manufacturing industry
Experience with production planning, materials planning, logistics, procurement, or supply chain
Knowledge in capacity planning, inventory management, or production logistics
Strong analytical skills and experience working data-driven
Good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably IFS, and the Office suite
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written
Meriting: Experience from the aerospace industry, Gripen operations, or other advanced manufacturing industry.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
