The Production Planner position is an addition to our partner's current planning function and aims to strengthen and professionalize the planning process as the company grows and transitions to new procedures and systems, not least within SAP S4/HANA. About the RoleOur partner is an innovative and international company that develops and manufactures high-tech solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. With a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and precision, they help ensure safe and efficient production processes for their customers worldwide. You will become a key player in the planning flow from when orders arrive from the sales organization until they are ready for production and delivery. In addition, you work on a weekly basis with a planning horizon of two weeks and handle everything from stock products to customer-unique solutions, where each order is often a combination of both. The role involves daily dialogue with colleagues in sales, procurement, and production. In the role, you work approximately 20% with fully customer-specific solutions, which requires you to have the ability to understand the customer's needs and adapt accordingly. You also need to have a good sense of when a customized solution is the right way to go – and when a standard off-the-shelf solution is more efficient. In summary, your work involves: Planning new customer orders into production based on available materials and resources. Assessing capacity of both internal resources (e.g., assembly group) and external suppliers. Developing and communicating realistic delivery times to sales. Acting on deviations and delays, and replanning in an efficient manner. Contributing to implementation and phase-out projects for new and existing products. Participating in the development of processes and procedures for increased efficiency and structure. Using and over time optimizing functions in SAP S4/HANA and complementing with Excel where the system is not yet sufficient. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone with experience in production and/or material planning in manufacturing industry, preferably where you have handled both standard products and customized solutions. You have a good understanding of flows, capacity, and dependencies between procurement, production, and delivery. To succeed in the role, you need to: Have approximately 3 years of experience working as a production planner or equivalent Experience working in SAP S4/HANA, and preferably other business systems Experience planning production based on limited resources and supplier capacity. Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
