We are now looking for a Production Planner with 3 years of experience for a long-term assignment with our client in the aerospace and defense industry in Linköping. This role is ideal for you if you have experience in production planning and want to work closely with operations on both tactical and strategic planning. As a Production Planner, you will play a central role in creating the right conditions for production through active planning, analysis, and follow-up. You will work closely with production managers and contribute to developing and optimizing planning efforts throughout the entire production chain. About the Assignment In this role, you will work with planning support throughout the production chain, from component manufacturing to final assembly. You will collaborate closely with shop floor managers and other internal functions, and you need to be able to see both the big picture and how individual decisions impact production conditions. Work tasks include, among others: Resource and capacity planning Capacity planning Buffer management Production tracking Support in planning-related questions Inventory optimization Planning and parameter configuration for manufactured items Analysis and balancing of service level, inventory turnover, total cost, and production conditions Continuous work to optimize, streamline, and improve planning processes and methods For this assignment, we are looking for someone who: Has a technical or business education at university level, or equivalent documented knowledge Has theoretical knowledge in planning, logistics, and inventory management Has previous experience in planning and/or procurement work Has strong knowledge of business systems such as IFS/ERP and the Office suite Has good analytical skills and can identify effects and relationships Can see the bigger picture and place individual tasks in a larger context Has excellent communication skills and is fluent in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing Is self-driven, motivated, and organized Has good collaboration skills, both in groups and in contact with internal interfaces Enjoys working with continuous improvements and optimization Is solution-oriented and enjoys solving problems Great weight is placed on personal qualities.
