About the Position
In this role, you will work with the receipt and handling of hazardous waste, becoming an important part of ensuring that materials are received, inspected, and handled correctly. The work is practical and varied, with elements of both customer contact and daily operations management.
You are responsible for receiving incoming goods, inspecting contents and documentation, and ensuring that waste is handled and stored safely and correctly.
Your duties include:
- Perform receiving inspections of incoming hazardous waste
- Weigh, register, and sort goods
- Identify and distinguish between different types of waste and chemical products
- Label, repackage, and ensure correct handling for further transport
- Use simple tools such as pH paper to check whether substances are acidic or basic
- Ensure that handling, packaging, and transport comply with applicable legislation, including ADR
- Provide simple guidance to customers regarding proper handling of hazardous waste
The work takes place in close collaboration with colleagues in the receiving department and involves both internal and external contacts. The role is varied and performed both indoors and outdoors, and some tasks may be physically demanding.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has an interest in practical work and safe handling of hazardous waste. You are thorough, responsible, and have a clear safety mindset. You enjoy working in a role where you can work structured and independently while being part of a team.
You have a good ability to observe, make simple assessments, and see differences between different types of materials. You are solution-oriented and flexible, and work well with both colleagues and customers.

This position is a consulting assignment, and you will be employed by us at OnePartnerGroup and then assigned to Stena Recycling with the possibility of permanent placement.
