We are seeking a Production Manager for our branch in Veddesta. This role is central to daily operations and suits you if you want to work close to the business, lead people, and drive improvements in a large production environment. At our Veddesta branch, we receive and handle large material flows from customers in the region. The business primarily encompasses iron, metals, hazardous waste, and alternative raw materials, where sorting, processing, and efficient production flows are key components. The branch is one of Stena Recycling's larger facilities with an annual turnover of approximately 800 MSEK and around 40 employees in production, branch management, sales organization, customer support, and specialist functions. Collaboration between functions is close, and the Production Manager role is important in driving both daily operations and long-term development. About the Role As Production Manager, you have a central role in daily production. You lead, plan, and allocate work in the business and work closely with your employees to create a safe, secure, and motivating work environment. You are responsible for monitoring production key performance indicators, driving improvement and change initiatives, and ensuring compliance with environmental and workplace requirements. Together with the branch manager and other support functions, you contribute to developing the business both operatively and long-term. Example of Responsibilities Lead and develop employees through clear leadership, competency development, and recruitment as needed Work with systematic improvement efforts, process optimization, and Lean/5S Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and initiate actions to improve results Ensure compliance with workplace, environmental, and safety requirements You have personnel and workplace responsibility for approximately 17 employees in production and receive support from supervisors in daily operations. The facility also has a branch manager, sales organization, customer support, and product specialists. Who Are You? What We're Looking For Requirements: At least 2 years of experience with personnel responsibility Experience from a similar leadership role in production or industry Good system proficiency and experience working with key performance indicators Experience with workplace responsibility B driver's license Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written, and English spoken Merits: Practical experience with Lean and 5S Higher education Experience with production economics Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 What Do We Offer?
