About the Role As a production manager with us, you will plan and lead daily production in your team. You'll be the first-line manager for about thirty employees working with rebar fabrication, concrete mixing, finishing, warehouse and picking, and finished goods storage. In our finishing department, we ensure that our concrete elements maintain high quality and are ready for delivery—this may include washing, painting, repairs, window installation, and more. The production manager should be a role model through their way of working and make use of the commitment and competence of their employees. Together, you and your team deliver high-quality products and drive continuous improvements. The role involves overall responsibility for ensuring that safety, quality, and delivery always remain in focus. You coach and assign work tasks, ensure that routines are followed and developed, and serve as an important communication link between the team and the factory manager. You introduce new personnel, conduct employee conversations, and help create a workplace where everyone feels comfortable, is involved, and develops. The work takes place in close collaboration with the factory manager, team leaders, and other colleagues in the factory and Team Thomas. This also includes a major responsibility for carrying forward the culture and values that contribute to a safe work environment. Who Are We Looking For? Personal qualities are important to us, and we're looking for someone who has succeeded in similar roles before, either on construction sites or in other production environments. We believe you're used to collaborating and creating engagement in the team—you ensure that everyone pulls in the same direction and find solutions where everyone is included. You stay calm even when there's a lot to do and have the courage to stand by your decisions. You communicate clearly and bring others along by being attentive and inspiring. You enjoy solving problems and see opportunities in change, especially when it comes to developing work methods and digitalization. Safety is always important to you, and you find it easy to organize and structure work so that production runs smoothly. You bring your team along when testing new ideas and developing the business together. It's a plus if you have experience from the construction industry, prefab, or other manufacturing industries. It's also an advantage if you have insight into reading drawings, experience working in digital systems, preventive maintenance, and have previously worked with Lean as part of creating efficient production.
