Your Tasks As a Production Manager at Mattsson Metal, you have overall responsibility for planning, leading and developing daily work in production. You ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with set goals for safety, quality, efficiency and delivery precision. This is done by creating clear priorities, ensuring correct staffing and competence, and following up on production results. You identify deviations, initiate necessary measures and actively work to create stable and efficient production flows. An important part of the assignment is to drive improvement work that develops both employees and operations. As Production Manager you report to the Production Manager. Your Profile The role requires clear, structured, committed and present leadership. As a leader you are confident in making decisions, even when the pace is high, and have the ability to act clearly and consistently while being responsive and present in dialogue with employees. Through good communication you create understanding of goals, requirements and priorities, follow up that common working methods are adhered to and create conditions for high responsibility and good cooperation in the group. We are looking for you who have: • Documented experience of working as a production manager, work leader or in another leading role, preferably in manufacturing industry. • Technical secondary education or equivalent technical competence acquired through work experience. • Good experience working with Lean tools and value stream analyses. • Experience working with production targets, follow-up, deviation management and improvement work. • Understanding of industrial flows, capacity, staffing, machine utilization and quality requirements. • The ability to document, implement and follow up common working methods. • Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. • Driver's license B. If you have experience from the metal industry, manufacturing industry or other manufacturing industry with high demands on quality and delivery reliability, this is highly meriting.
