The Department of Infrastructure and Environment consists of the following operational areas: Physical Planning, Water, Sewage and Waste, Streets, Parks and Forests, and Properties, Environment and Construction. The Unit for Projects and Investment manages and coordinates the department's new and reinvestment projects. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a production manager, you will be responsible for a work group of approximately 4-6 employees and contractors. You plan, lead, and distribute work tasks in water and sewage in existing streets (replacement of existing pipes). You will also lead new construction of streets and water and sewage work (new construction). You perform economic controls and follow-ups, provide service to the municipality's clients and residents. Another major part of the job is ensuring that routines are followed; you are also responsible for the work environment of your subordinates. You are responsible for ensuring that we comply with agreements with internal and external customers and that cooperation functions well between them. On-call management readiness for either water and sewage or the winter organization is included in the position. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: You have at least a high school diploma, preferably with a technical focus. Or another education or experience that the employer considers relevant and sufficient for the assignment. You have experience in road engineering and road construction and have worked several years in water and sewage, soil, and installation work as well as preventive road maintenance, ranging from minor repairs to large renovations. We also see that you have several years of work experience, primarily in water and sewage and stormwater. Knowledge of construction machinery and tools. Computer skills and good knowledge of the Office package. Driver's License B Good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. As a production manager, you are clear and work with a clear goal focus and with great awareness of what works in practice, as well as with a genuine interest in service and development work. Since we largely work in collaboration, we place great emphasis on your teamwork skills. You have personal maturity and feel secure in yourself and in your professional role. The position requires that you are good at communicating and are attentive, as you have a lot of contact with residents. Meritorious: • Industry experience through previous work as a water and sewage technician, plumber, or operations technician. • Water and sewage education: Post-secondary education in water and sewage engineering, environmental engineering, or installation. • Blueprint literacy: Experience reading and interpreting utility maps and drawings. Certificates and qualifications • Work on roads: Certification (APV 1&2) for safe work on road construction. • BAS U/BAS P: Training in Construction Work Environment Coordination for planning and execution. • B driver's license is required; BE is meritorious. • Hot work: Certificate for fire safety in welding or cutting. • PE welding training: Certification • Leadership experience such as team lead, project manager, or group manager. • Knowledge of contract law, industry standard agreements, such as AB 04 or ABT 06. • Experience with budgeting, change order work, or invoice handling. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: Start date by agreement. Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required.
