About the role As a Production Manager, you have a key role in our factory in Tollarp. You are responsible for leading and developing daily and long-term operations within your area. Together with your team, you ensure safe, efficient, and high-performing production where quality, delivery reliability, and employee engagement are central. The role reports to the Plant Manager and involves close collaboration with planning, quality, technical, and production functions. This is a one-year temporary position with employment at Orkla Foods Sverige, with placement at our factory in Tollarp, starting as soon as possible. What you will have the opportunity to work with Lead and allocate daily production work Ensure staffing, resource planning, and capacity utilization Monitor KPIs, production results, OEE, and costs Drive occupational health, safety, and food safety initiatives Lead improvement initiatives according to Lean/OPS principles Investigate deviations, incidents, and quality issues and ensure corrective actions Coach, develop, and engage employees through engaged leadership Participate in implementing new products, processes, and working methods Collaborate with internal functions to achieve the best possible results Profile description: We are looking for you who have: Post-secondary education in technology, production, industrial economics, organization, or equivalent experience Experience in leadership and personnel responsibility within manufacturing industry Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Fluent spoken and written Swedish and good knowledge of English A clear leader who creates engagement, participation, and results A strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement It is meritorious if you have: Experience from the food industry Knowledge of BAM, SAM, or other EHS training Experience with quality and food safety systems Knowledge of budget and cost management Experience with SAP or similar business systems Experience with Lean Manufacturing, OPS, or improvement work Experience with investment or development projects Why you will thrive with us At Orkla Foods you will have the opportunity to make a difference in an operation with well-known brands, strong local presence, and high ambitions.
