Aston Harald Mekaniska Verkstad is growing, and we are now looking for a production engineer who wants to take an active role in our industrialization and continued development. About the role As a production engineer with us, you work broadly across the organization and collaborate with planners, production technicians, production departments, as well as contracts and market functions. You are an important part of ensuring that new and existing products have the right conditions in production. Our organization is relatively young. Much has been built by skilled people – but far from everything is finished. Here there is room (and need) to identify gaps, take initiative, and create structure. Your assignment In this role, you will, among other things: Drive planning and industrialization activities in connection with new products, business deals, and investments – from idea to functioning production. Further develop production planning in Monitor G5. Create, maintain, and manage change for items, item structures, and operation lists. Develop, document, and update production methods, work instructions, inspection documents, and templates. Support production and machine operators with questions related to machining, methods, and manufacturing flows. Conduct root cause analyses and drive corrective and preventive measures. Lead development projects within production technology. You function as a driver in the industrialization work and actively contribute to creating stability, clarity, and quality in our processes. We believe you have Technical education in production technology, mechanics, or equivalent experience Experience from workshop production, preferably in cutting machining or assembly Experience working in business systems, preferably Monitor Good understanding of drawings, production flows, and industrialization Knowledge of LEAN, method standardization, or industrialization work is a merit. To thrive in this role, you are: Self-driven and structured Analytical but practically minded Communicative and enjoy collaborating with different functions Unpretentious and solution-oriented We would like to see that you have previously worked in a manufacturing company, preferably serving customers in defense, aviation, and space or the automotive industry.
