Production Manager Smurfit Westrock OnWell Do you want to be part of developing a production operation with ambitious goals? We are now looking for a Production Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for our production and become an important part of OnWell's continued development and growth. About the Role As Production Manager, you are responsible for safe, well-organized, and high-quality operations, where our display and POS solutions are delivered to customers on time and with the right quality. You lead and develop the team within production, planning, warehouse, and logistics, and you create a smooth flow from customer order to finished delivery. The operation currently runs on two shifts, and you manage daily operations in close collaboration with two shift leaders. You report directly to the Plant Manager and become an important part of the factory's continued development. Together with your team, you build the structure, competence, and capacity needed for OnWell to grow profitably. Key Responsibilities Safety & Working Environment: Drive preventive safety work and build a strong safety culture. Operative Leadership: Lead, develop, and engage employees within production, planning, warehouse, and logistics. Flow & Planning: Ensure production planning and material availability for an efficient flow through to delivery. Change & KPIs: Create structure, implement 5S, and monitor operations based on KPIs for OTIF, quality, and productivity. Operational Reliability & Capacity: Ensure high machine availability, preventive maintenance, and efficient capacity utilization. Your Profile and Experience We are looking for someone with experience from manufacturing industry who understands the challenges of an operation with varying orders and short lead times. Good technical understanding and experience with machine-related work are merits. You have documented experience of personnel responsibility and are used to driving, developing, and creating engagement among employees in an operative environment. As a leader, you are present, action-oriented, and unpretentious. You thrive when things happen and you manage the operation by being visible in daily operations, working close to your employees, and creating clarity around expectations and responsibility. You are action-oriented and make sure things get done. You are organized and results-oriented, used to following up the operation through relevant KPIs, and you dare to challenge existing ways of working. You are one step ahead, catch challenges early, and see opportunities to work smarter, more efficiently, and more profitably—always with the customer and delivery in focus.
