[Text about current subsidiary is placed here] About Pellet Plants 2 & 3 At our pellet plants 2 & 3, our goal for 2025 is to produce 8.7 million tons of finished pellets delivered to our customers worldwide. About the operation Kiruna Ore Processing's mission is to process ore from mine to finished product. The main parts of the process are screening, concentration, and pelletizing. The department consists of a total of eight sections, four of which are part of the main process and the other four are support sections for quality, technical and process development, material processes, and maintenance. Your role As Production Manager (PM) for operations at Pellet Plants 2 & 3 (KK2/KK3), a first-line manager, you will lead drift and process operators in their daily work. You will handle operational issues in consultation with your direct reports and propose and discuss tactical matters with your group manager. Your responsibilities: Personnel and work environment responsibility for your team. Responsibility for staffing, onboarding, and skills development. Operationally responsible for deliveries according to established targets for availability, plant utilization, quality, and environment. During your shift, PM Operations oversees the production process to ensure everything functions as it should and minimize operational disruptions. PM Operations collaborates with other PMs Operations on duty within the department to address operational disruptions and perform emergency maintenance work with Shift Maintenance. Ensuring that the work environment and production comply with safety regulations and requirements is an important part of the role. PM Operations is responsible for ensuring that all employees work safely and that any safety risks and deviations are handled immediately. Responsible for leading and coaching your operations team in daily work and driving improvement initiatives Function as a link between operational teams, other sections, and senior managers. What you bring We are looking for an engaged and driven leader who is a good role model. You like people, are present in the business, take great responsibility, and feel confident in the leadership role. You are motivated by lifting and leading people. You coach them to achieve both their own and the business's goals. You have an organizational eye and find it easy to prioritize and structure your tasks. You should have the desire to develop your own leadership, and you will receive leadership training and support in your role. Beyond this, you have: High school diploma is a requirement, preferably with a technical orientation Class B driver's license Experience in a leadership position or management is a merit Plant knowledge and process expertise is a merit Fluent Swedish in speech and writing Warm welcome with your application!
