Nova Industri AB is a leading service company specializing in industrial production and mechanical processing, with operations in Boden and Kalix. Our strong regional presence enables us to deliver high-quality services, primarily to industrial companies throughout Norrbotten. As a Production Manager at Nova Industri, you will have the opportunity to work with your team to create and realize a shared vision. You report directly to Nova Industri's General Manager. You will work closely with colleagues at the parent company in Germany to follow SMS group standards and guidelines. Good knowledge of both Swedish and English is a requirement for this position. You are results-oriented and enjoy seeing progress and development within your team. Responsibilities Production leadership and customer-focused deliveries: Ensure high-quality deliveries through effective production management and a strong customer focus. Financial responsibility and cost control: Responsibility for financial results, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability. Innovation and operational efficiency: Promote innovation and continuous improvement of operations in collaboration with internal stakeholders, including colleagues in Germany. Compliance with regulations and ISO standards: Ensure that operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including maintaining ISO certifications. Safety, quality, and continuous improvements: Implement and maintain robust processes for safety, quality, and continuous improvements, including preventive measures to avoid errors and deficiencies. Personal Qualities and Qualifications You are a shop-floor-oriented professional with a background as a machine operator or workshop mechanic and have a genuine interest in industrial production and manufacturing operations. You have practical experience from the shop floor, including knowledge of CNC programming, and thrive in an environment where quality, safety, and reliability are always in focus. With at least five years of relevant experience, you have developed solid technical expertise in areas such as assembly and welding. You work methodically according to health, safety, and environmental requirements as well as established quality procedures. Beyond technical expertise, you understand how production results are measured and improved. You have experience in shop floor control and reporting on cost centers. You have previous experience in leadership within production, manufacturing, or industrial services and feel confident leading, motivating, and developing employees to achieve shared goals. Finally, you have a strong focus on continuous improvement and experience implementing new ways of working and processes that strengthen efficiency and operational results.
