About Us
Outokumpu Prefab AB is a specialized subsidiary of Outokumpu Stainless AB and a global leader in the manufacturing of press roll shells – advanced large-scale components for the paper industry. Our production is entirely customer order-driven with high demands for precision, delivery reliability, and work environment.

About the Role
As our Production Manager, you have overall responsibility for production results, leadership, and continuous development. You report directly to the CEO and are part of the local management group.
This is a role for someone who wants to combine strategic influence with present operational leadership. You lead approximately 30 employees and have a central role in driving improvements in safety, efficiency, sustainability, quality, and delivery precision.
Main Areas of Responsibility
Lead, inspire, and develop the production team to achieve set goals within work environment and safety, productivity, quality, cost efficiency, delivery precision, and customer satisfaction.
Have overall personnel responsibility, including workforce planning, competence development, labor relations, and organizational development.
Drive work environment and safety initiatives and serve as chair of the safety committee.
Develop production processes and working methods in close collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Logistics.
Lead improvement initiatives, production development, and investment projects that strengthen our long-term competitiveness.
Your Profile
We seek an engaged and confident leader with strong technical understanding and a structured, business-oriented approach. You are comfortable balancing daily operations with long-term strategic development through clarity, communication, and collaboration.
We believe you have:
A degree in materials engineering, metallurgy, or equivalent.
Documented experience in leadership and personnel responsibility.
Experience from the steel, metal, or manufacturing industry.
The ability to see the big picture and drive improvement work in a structured and systematic manner.
Positive, communicative, and inclusive leadership.
Good ability to make decisions in a changing business.
Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Good digital competence and experience working with various IT systems.
