Responsibilities
We are looking for a production manager for a manufacturing company with a production operation where multiple processes and competencies work together. The role is central to the organization and involves full responsibility for production – from planning and structure to leadership and follow-up.
You will lead a team of approximately 30 employees, working closely with supervisors/production coordinators who have operational responsibility in day-to-day work. Your role will be to ensure structure, create the right conditions, and follow up so that production runs efficiently even when circumstances change.
The production is complex and requires your ability to handle variation, prioritize correctly, and create collaboration between different functions. You have many internal contact points, for example with sales, procurement, and engineering, and you are responsible for driving the work forward even when deviations or disruptions occur.
Examples of tasks:
Lead and develop production with a focus on structure, quality, and delivery accuracy
Coach and support supervisors/production coordinators in their daily work
Ensure that routines are followed and continuously improved
Handle deviations and drive improvement efforts
Collaborate with internal functions such as sales, procurement, and engineering
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone with:
Several years of experience in manufacturing industry
Experience from a leadership or responsible role close to production, such as production manager, production leader, quality manager, or similar
Good understanding of production flows, planning, and follow-up
Good computer skills and experience working with business systems
An advantage to have experience with the Monitor business system
Fluent Swedish and good English skills, both spoken and written
